subspace Magazine: When did you first realize you were into kink?
Morrigan Hel: I’m from the middle of nowhere in Wales, we had some woods behind our house & I used to tie my brothers friends to trees as a child, so it started pretty early!
subspace Magazine: When did you first realize you were dominant?
Morrigan Hel: Very early on. I was obsessed with strong female comic book characters such as Vampirella, Purgatori etc the combination of femininity with strength and power is intoxicating. It manifested itself with my first boyfriend and continued from there.
subspace Magazine: How did you become a professional dominant?
Morrigan Hel: I was a lifestyle dominant and I’d always wanted to try my had at being a pro Domme. I took my first trip to NYC when I was 21, I ended up shooting for the cover of a tattoo magazine and the photographer told me about Pandora’s box, so my journey started there. When I got home I set about finding a dungeon to use and then set up my own dungeon soon after.
subspace Magazine: What stands out as some of your favorite things to do during a session?
Morrigan Hel: I have a wide range of interests so it’s hard to single out, chemistry is very important to me. There has to be a rapport between Mistress and slave so it does vary from session to session. Some of my general favourites are – Slave training, boot/shoe foot worship and trampling, bondage, CP and whipping, mind control, sensory play/deprivation.
subspace Magazine: What does the term subspace mean to you?
Morrigan Hel: It’s an altered state that the submissive goes into during a session, usually bought on by intense sensory play.
subspace Magazine: Do you have any favorite BDSM devices or toys?
Morrigan Hel: I love my electric toys! I have a beautiful, custom, reclining spinning St Andrews cross. That’s a lot of fun! A few favourite whips and canes, body bags & hoods. Oh and some beautiful steel shackles.
subspace Magazine: Can you tell us about your private dungeon?
Morrigan Hel: I’ve had to move recently, my space is called Murder Mile Studios and it has a large fully equipped dungeon with dressing room, kitchen, boudoir, white room, office, lounge and double shower/bathroom for messy play 😉 it’s been a lot of work but all well worth it. It’s available to hire for sessions and shoots.
subspace Magazine: What do you try and accomplish in a first time session?
Morrigan Hel: I see first sessions as exploratory and an introduction. Every session is different so I think it’s just important that both parties enjoy the session.
subspace Magazine: What are some things you like to make a new slave try?
Morrigan Hel: Slave positions, physical exam, physical endurance tests, obedience tests, foot massage!
subspace Magazine: Are you more sensual or sadistic as a Mistress?
Morrigan Hel: I probably lean to the more strict and sadistic side. Although my manner can be sensual to a point & it very much depends on my mood & the situation.
subspace Magazine: What are some of your clothing fetishes?
Morrigan Hel: I love latex catsuits, that’s a long term clothing fetish! Also mesh, nylon, leather and corsets. And don’t even get me started on high heeled shoes and boots! 😉
